He also gave continuing legal education lectures on different types of law from time to time. DESCRIPTION:在北卡华人社区爱心捐助小提琴家杨犀的时候，您有没有想到关心自己的身体？ \n美中医生联袂，告诉您如何防治大肠癌 \n大肠病（也叫做结直肠）很常见，美国总统艾森豪威尔、克林顿、小布什都做过结肠、直肠息肉切除手术，里根和老布什总统则都患过结肠癌。 \n有统计称，在美国癌症发病率中，大肠癌排在第三位，在中国大城市位居第五，台湾地区肠癌发病率甚至高居全球第一。被这种疾病折磨致死的名人，有中国十大元帅中的彭德怀、陈毅，美国著名影星奥黛丽.赫本，台湾导演杨德昌…… \n最近，北卡三角地区的华人掀起捐助小提琴家杨犀的爱心热潮，捐款、义卖活动倾注了大家对这位艺术家的敬爱之情，也让一些人关注到危害生命健康的常见恶性肿瘤——大肠癌。 \n其实，大肠癌是所有癌症中通过早期筛查防治效果最佳的病症。 \n为什么美国预防服务工作小组（USPSTF）建议，普通人到了50岁就要开始定期做大肠癌筛检？大肠癌是如何导致和生成的？如何发现苗头？如何联系、接受筛查？不幸患上之后如何就医治疗？在美国社会，如何避免因意外患上重病导致家庭财政危机？ \n由《侨报周末》南北卡版提议，北卡三角区华人医生协会、北卡华人学者中美交流协会、北卡华人企业协会联袂组织的“大肠癌防治专题论坛”，将邀请分别在杜克大学肿瘤中心、北京大学肿瘤医院从事结肠癌治疗的两位医生，以及一位医疗保险行业资深专家，为华人同胞把脉问诊。 \n主讲嘉宾\n杜克大学肿瘤中心医生王翔——\n\n主讲：美国结肠直肠癌发病特点、筛查预防建议及治疗现状\n王翔先生是北京协和医科大学医学博士，纽约哥伦比亚大学公共卫生学硕士，在辛辛那提医学院接受美国肿瘤与血液临床专科培训。 现为杜克大学肿瘤中心主治医生，主要从事胃肠肿瘤临床研究和治疗。 \n  \n  \n北京大学肿瘤医院医生杜长征——\n\n主讲：中国结直肠癌的诊疗现状和临床特点\n杜长征先生是北京大学肿瘤医院胃肠肿瘤中心副主任医师，毕业于北京大学肿瘤学专业，从事结直肠癌诊断与治疗多年，擅长结直肠癌综合治疗、直肠癌新辅助治疗与保留肛门手术、结肠造口并发症处理等专业领域。现阶段受邀在杜克大学病理系作研究学者。 \n  \n\n蓝十字蓝盾北卡分公司代理冯美昌——\n\n主讲：医疗保险的适应种类、优缺点及理财建议\n冯美昌先生从事医疗保险15年多，开始是美国家庭保险公司（American Family Insurance Company）的业务代理，2008年在罗利市中心开办独立保险代理事务所（Piedmont Insurance and Business Group），多次获得代理公司杰出代理奖。目前是蓝十字蓝盾北卡分公司（Blue Cross And Blue Shield Of North Carolina）总裁级（President Club）代理。 \n  \n\n特邀主持人\n杜克医学院病理科临床医生谢惠文博士\n谢惠文先生毕业于湘雅医学院，在威斯康辛大学获生理博士学位，并先后在威斯康辛大学医学中心完成病理住院培训、在洛约拉（Loyola ）大学完成细胞病理专科培训。他原在孟菲斯担任细胞病理学主任，现在是杜克大学资深病理医师，主要从事癌症病理诊断。 \n  \n论坛先由3位主讲嘉宾分别演讲，随后由主持人设置话题，请三位主讲嘉宾讨论，并回答听众现场提问。 \n论坛时间：11月17日（周六）下午2:30\n地点：6 Davis Dr. Durham，NC 27709\n请尽快登录北卡华人企业协会 “大肠癌防治专题论坛”网页登记，获取免费门票，以便志愿者统计人数布置会场。\n\n主办协会及发起媒体简介\n北卡三角区华人医生协会（NC Triangle Chinese American Physician Association）\n北卡三角地区医生专业协会，会员均为通过美国临床医生执照考试、取得医生执照、在三角区做临床行医的华裔医生。目前会员的专业涉及的领域有， 家庭科，内科心脏科，肾脏糖尿病科，血液肿瘤科，病理科，康复疼痛科，心脏精神科等，就职于杜克大学、北卡教堂山大学、维克郡医院等大医院与医学中心，或三角区私营医疗诊所。 \n北卡华人学者中美交流协会（North Carolina Chinese scholars Sino-Us Exchange Association，简称NCCSEA）\n北卡华人学者中美交流协会由杜克大学、北卡大学教堂山分校、北卡州立大学、北卡中央大学、北卡大学彭布罗克分校（UNCP）、美国环境健康科学院(NIEHS) 等高校、科研院所的访问学者、博士后、留学生、当地企业界的学者科学家联合组建而成，宗旨是：创建留美学者与当地学者之间进行学术交流的平台；为初来北卡的学者提供生活上的便利；提升和维护留学学者们的权益；以访问学者和留学生为纽带，进行中美之间学术与文化的交流。 \n北卡华人企业协会（The North Carolina Chinese Business Association，简称NCCBA）\n北卡华人企业协会是一个非营利机构，为专业人士、学生和有共同兴趣的中国企业设立。协会以代表、服务及促进会员及北卡华人的共同利益为己任，以促进科技领域创业、发展为重点，通过主办各种形式的活动和论坛，开展创业及商业资讯的普及和交流，鼓励和促进会员之间的相互协作和提高。此外，协会在促进中国与北卡贸易交流中扮演重要角色。 \n《侨报周末》南北卡版\n《侨报周末》是华人社区最接地气、最有影响力的社区媒体，除了报纸还有微信公众号和网站。《侨报周末》致力于为社区所有说中文的读者服务，欢迎订阅、点赞、支持。
