NCCBA Board Members

Dr. Daniel Cheng is the Chairperson of the Board of the North Carolina Chinese Business Association (NCCBA). He is also the Founder and President of Duka Real Estate and Consulting Services LLC and serves as Vice President at eXp Commercial Realty. Dr. Cheng earned his bachelor’s degree from Xiamen University and his Ph.D. from Duke University, and he holds the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation.
With over a decade of experience in North Carolina’s commercial and industrial real estate sector, Dr. Cheng specializes in investment, site selection, transactions, and asset management for factories, warehouses, office buildings, retail spaces, and land. As a trusted advisor to Chinese manufacturing companies establishing operations in the U.S., he has guided clients through end-to-end processes, including market research, business negotiations, corporate acquisitions, property purchases, and project implementation across states such as North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.
In his role at NCCBA, Dr. Cheng is committed to promoting economic cooperation and fostering strong ties between Chinese and American cities, advancing North Carolina’s economy, and encouraging more startups and entrepreneurial innovation.

Eva Kang is a Raleigh native and proud graduate of North Carolina State University. With over 30 years of residency in Wake County, she is deeply rooted in the local community and actively involved in numerous civic and professional organizations.
With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Eva is a trusted and relationship-driven Commercial Banker. Currently serving as Vice President at North State Bank, she specializes in helping business owners and entrepreneurs access strategic capital solutions to support growth and long-term success. Eva works closely with small to mid-sized businesses across a range of industries—including nonprofits, real estate, and manufacturing—providing customized lending, treasury, and advisory services. Her expertise spans equipment financing, commercial real estate, working capital lines of credit, and more.
Eva’s passion for building long-term relationships and delivering client-focused solutions makes her a valued partner to businesses throughout the region.

Jeff Wang, Ph.D. started his life as an entrepreneur in 2003. He started as an IT expert, then proceeded to involve in mortgage loan brokerage, corporate accounting, quality control/quality assurance, government affair/regulation compliance, and real estates investment. He is the owner and executive of several companies, some in local, others spanning internationally. Beyond works and exercises, Dr Wang is also a volunteer, a writer, and an avid traveler.

Astute leader with expertise across operations management, procurement & supply chain optimization, and financial management.Accomplished and dedicated manager equipped with strong business acumen, financial acuity, and deep knowledge of new product delivery activities management and global supply chain operations. Lead procurement team focusing on new products sourcing decisions with in-depth product cost management knowledge. Analyze and interpret financial records to isolate trends, identify areas for improvement, and assess overall performance.
